Job Title: Senior Endur Business Analyst-Energy Trading client

Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite)

Duration: 6 Months+

Rate: 600 GBP/Day Outside IR35

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Endur Business Analyst to join a leading Energy Trading client in London. The ideal candidate will have strong Endur functional expertise and extensive experience working across the full trade lifecycle within Gas, Power, LNG, or Commodities trading environments. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving Endur enhancements, implementations, and strategic transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Front Office, Risk, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams to gather and analyse business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and Endur solution designs.
  • Lead workshops and stakeholder discussions to define business processes and system improvements.
  • Support Endur implementations, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend best-practice Endur solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Support SIT, UAT, defect triage, and production releases.
  • Produce high-quality functional documentation including BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and process flows.
  • Drive continuous improvement across Energy Trading business processes.

Required Experience

  • 8+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within Energy Trading.
  • Strong functional knowledge of ION/Openlink Endur.
  • Excellent understanding of the complete commodity trade lifecycle.
  • Experience across:
    • Front Office Trading
    • Middle Office & Risk
    • Back Office Operations
    • Settlements & Confirmations
    • Scheduling
    • Market Risk & Credit Risk
    • P&L and Valuation
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with business and technology teams.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with Gas, Power, LNG, Crude, Refined Products, or Commodities.
  • Knowledge of Endur modules such as:
    • Trading Manager
    • Scheduling
    • Risk
    • Settlements
    • Accounting
    • Market Manager
  • Exposure to SQL and data analysis.
  • Experience supporting Endur upgrades, cloud migrations, or large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Understanding of regulatory reporting (REMIT, EMIR, MiFID II) is advantageous.
