Gortmore are working with a leading contractor who are looking for a Senior Engineer on a high-profile project in the Bedford area.

The Candidate Must

  • Have previous experience working on Civil’s projects working on drainage, service/ductwork installation, RC Concrete.
  • Must be competent in ordering Material and Rebar.
  • Must have previous experience working with designers.
  • Monitoring, manage, distribute project information to site Engineers, and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
  • Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed Specification.
  • Ensure Project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
  • Must be competent in Auto Cad, reading drawings, Cut & Fill’s, and quantifying/ordering materials such as Concrete, rebar, drainage/earthworks materials, etc.
  • Carry out ITP’s, KPI’s, RFI’s, etc.
  • Must be competent in Auto Cad and reading drawings.
  • Have excellent communication skills and in distributing project information to work colleagues.
  • Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
