I'm partnering with a growing healthcare organisation backed by private equity that is investing significantly in its UK data function.
This is a newly created opportunity to play a key role in shaping the company's data strategy while working with senior stakeholders across the UK and Europe.
The business's private equity owner has already developed a sophisticated Azure-based data warehouse for its European operations. As the UK business continues to grow, they're looking for an experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer to help replicate and optimise this platform, giving the UK team access to reliable, high-quality data and enabling the creation of impactful Power BI dashboards and reporting.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of the UK data platform, working closely with the European technology team while acting as the technical lead for the UK business.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborating with the European data team to replicate and enhance the existing Azure data warehouse.
- Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data platform solutions using Azure technologies.
- Improving data accessibility to support Power BI reporting and business intelligence.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders, including the CTO, CFO, and business leaders, to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Supporting the organisation's future AI and LLM ambitions by ensuring robust data governance, GDPR compliance, and secure handling of PII.
- Driving best practice across data engineering, architecture, and governance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
