Job Title
We are seeking experienced Senior Engineer to support the design, development, integration and delivery of autonomous and uncrewed maritime systems.
Role Overview
Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will contribute throughout the engineering lifecycle from concept development through detailed design, manufacture, integration, commissioning, testing and acceptance.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality engineering designs and technical documentation.
- Develop system architectures and subsystem designs.
- Support systems engineering activities.
- Produce engineering calculations, analyses and technical reports.
- Participate in engineering design reviews.
- Support manufacturing, installation and integration activities.
- Resolve engineering issues during build and commissioning.
- Engage with customers and suppliers.
- Support technical proposals and business development activities.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture or a related STEM discipline.
Desired Skills
- Chartered Engineer (CEng)
- Membership of a relevant professional institution
- INCOSE certification or equivalent Systems Engineering accreditation
Experience
- Years of experience delivering complex maritime, defence or highly regulated engineering programmes.
- The successful candidate will be recognized as a technical authority capable of leading engineering delivery across complex multidisciplinary projects:

- Stakeholder management
- Engineering judgement
- Technical report writing

- Ability to support multidisciplinary teams
