Role Overview
Project Engineering Manager
- Lead software testing and debugging activities
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery
- Provide facilities support
- Work closely with Lead Engineers and Test Engineers
- Act as a key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Key Responsibilities
- Manage software testing and debugging scenarios
- Support EFAT (Extended Factory Acceptance Testing)
- Coordinate project execution and delivery
- Provide engineering leadership during the testing phase
- Manage customer communications, ensuring expectations and project milestones are met
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate effective collaboration across engineering, project, and customer teams

Required Experience
- Project engineering or engineering management experience
- Strong software testing and debugging experience
- Proven project delivery experience
- Customer-facing experience, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Strong stakeholder management skills across customers, engineering teams, and project leadership
- Experience in Oil & Gas preferred
- Subsea industry experience is highly desirable
- Hardware-side engineering experience preferred
Location
Nailsea and extended site locations
Contract Details
- Initial 12-month contract
- Strong likelihood of extension (expected total duration of at least 2 years)

Working Pattern
- Extended shift hours
- Overnight work required
- Flexibility is essential
- May work up to 12-hour shifts
- Overtime, weekend work, and, when required, 7-day working during critical project phases

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Flexible and willing to work extended and overnight shifts
- Strong leadership and project delivery experience
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
- Proven stakeholder management across multiple functions
- Experience leading engineering and testing teams
- Oil & Gas and/or subsea experience preferred
- Hardware engineering background is an advantage
