Are you an experienced Engineer with a strong background in Defence and a specific focus on Ordnance, Munitions and Explosives (OME)? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join a leading Defence company as a Senior Engineer (Land OME).
This role is based primarily in Bristol, offering the flexibility of fully remote working with only occasional site visits. It's a contract position with an immediate start, running until 31 March 2027, with potential for extension. The client values expertise in Safety Management within DE&S and is looking for a professional ready to contribute to critical resilience measures.

What you'll be responsible for:
- Providing assurance of engineering requirements and proposals related to OME systems.
- Applying technical scrutiny and performing critical analysis of OME system deliverables.
- Supporting agile programme development to deliver complex projects within tight timeframes.
Who we are looking for:
Essential:
- Proven experience in Safety Management within DE&S
- Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Desirable:
- Technical knowledge of OME and understanding of the industry
- Risk management skills
- Awareness of commercial and project procurement processes.
