Job Summary
The Senior Office 365 Engineer will oversee the technical execution and implementation of Microsoft Office 365 services and products. Your role involves:
- Full-cycle management of Office 365, covering Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Exchange Online
- Tenant administration with deep expertise in email and cloud services
- Hands-on leadership in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 solutions
- Managing major dependencies (integrations, Hybrid environments, Migration)

Key Responsibilities
Technical Delivery
- Architect, implement, and maintain a highly scalable, secure Microsoft 365 environment
- Design and deploy modern collaborative solutions for office automation and integration
- Ensure seamless integration with hybrid systems (ADFS, Azure AD sync, conditional access, etc.)
- Migrate users, mailboxes, data, and configurations to Office 365 (including legacy systems)
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, infrastructure dependencies, and compliance gaps
- Provide high availability (HA) and disaster recovery for Office 365 services
Identity and Security Management
- Oversee User Management and Lifecycle alignment with corporate policies
- Conduct access reviews and enforce least-privilege security models
- Ensure compliance with Microsoft regulatory standards (GDPR, DMARC, DKIM), security best practices, and Office 365 governance
Collaboration and Microsoft Ecosystem
- Implement and manage Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business, including:
- Sharing policies, metadata management, and dark sites governance
- Customization (Power Platform, workflow automation, SharePoint frameworks)
- Guarantee high usability, adoption, and administrative controls across all Office 365 features

Media and Migration Support
- Assist internal media services for corporate communications across Office 365
- Participate in migration planning for all Office 365 domains, mailboxes, users, and data
Security, Compliance, and End-User Support
- Survey and define security and hygiene requirements (spam filters, malware protection)
- Embed malware analysis and remediation actions into daily operations
- Support end-users with Office 365 migrations, licensing, and layout transition
Requirements
Technical Expertise & Experience
- 7+ years in Office 365 related roles
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange email, Teams, Shared drive, Office apps)
- Proven experience with Office 365 migration strategies and best practices
- Hands-on expertise with ADFS, hybrid Exchange environments
- Knowledge of Azure and hybrid identity, including:
- Azure Active Directory Connect (for single-sign-on)
- Defining conditional access policies
Administrative & Compliance
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Compliance and Threat Protection, including:
- SharePoint and Exchange retention policies
- Security reports, and Sentinel and Azure EMS services
- Proficiency in Office 365 PowerShell for provisioning and configuration
Other Qualifications
- ITIL Foundation or Microsoft 365 cloud licensing performance certifications preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, IT, or a relevant field:
- Equivalent experience may be accepted for candidates without a degree
- Excellent communication skills (to clearly inform on infrastructure developments)
