Senior Product Engineer

Up to £85,000 + strong benefits
Flexible / Remote first

We're working with an established software company to find a Senior Product Engineer who will help build and scale a platform used daily by a large customer base. This is a Senior Product Engineer role for someone who wants genuine ownership and technical challenge, with work that ships and reaches real users.

You'll own features end to end, from back-end services through to the customer-facing product. You'll work closely with the Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, QA and Product, and you'll set the technical bar for the people around you.

Responsibilities as a Senior Product Engineer:

  • Build, maintain and scale platform-level back-end services that support data and product capabilities across the business
  • Ship new features across the core product suite, taking them from design through to delivery
  • Own high-impact work directly, resolving critical bugs and system issues with strong problem-solving and deep system knowledge
  • Drive test coverage and reliability through advanced automated testing and Test-Driven Development
  • Keep code quality high through thorough, constructive code reviews and well-architected, scalable design
  • Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through pairing, reviews and team learning sessions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
