Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to join Experian's Global Cloud Foundation Platform Engineering team, developing unified platform solutions and new product prototypes.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced people leader with strong technical expertise to work with the teams to deliver.NET and cloud based solutions using AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on technologist with strong AWS and Generative AI expertise (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex), championing an AI-first approach to enhance productivity and accelerate the SDLC.
- Accountable for UK&I product and software delivery, using metrics and KPIs to track performance, manage delivery health, and ensure cross-business alignment.
- Building, scale, and mentor high-performing product engineering teams aligned to business strategy.
- Embed and drive the adoption of AI tools in the team.
- Drive Engineering Excellence by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability, while coaching teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Identify complex technical and delivery challenges, define scalable solutions and solution designs, and work hands-on with engineers to deep dive into code and technical components.
- Act as senior escalation point for client delivery issues, removing blockers and embedding best practices in TDD, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Optimise cost and efficiency by reducing TCO through simplification, automation, and continuous service improvement, while proactively managing security, risk, and vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to revenue growth and future strategy by delivering cost-effective, high-quality solutions, enabling rapid experimentation, and shaping the UK&I technology roadmap.

Qualifications
- Extensive software engineering experience and solution design in.NET tech stack.
- Hands-on Proficiency in AWS cloud, full stack, testing, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps & security best practices.
- Confidence using AI tools and experience driving adoption of AI tools in teams (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex).
- Strong delivery experience, working with cross functional and global engineering teams.
- Proven team leadership and mentoring skills, leading high performing teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum (SAFE or LESS).
