Role Description
The Senior Enterprise Architect will lead the design and governance of end-to-end enterprise architectures that align business strategy with technology solutions. This full-time, on-site role based in Edinburgh includes defining architectural roadmaps, establishing standards, and ensuring coherence across business, application, data, and technology domains.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements

The role also includes mentoring team members, contributing to strategic initiatives, and supporting executive decision-making through clear architectural documentation and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Strong Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture skills, including experience defining target states, roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in Business Architecture, with the ability to translate business strategies, capabilities, and processes into architectural requirements.
- Expertise in Technical Architecture and Application Architecture, including integration patterns, scalability, security, and performance considerations.
- Extensive experience with AI-enabled, cloud, and microservices-based architectures, and familiarity with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to work with common architecture frameworks and methods (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, or similar), and to produce clear architectural artifacts and diagrams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and collaborating across product, engineering, and business teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in accessible terms.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in enterprise-scale transformation projects and prior leadership or mentorship responsibilities in architecture teams is highly beneficial.
