Senior Environmental and Sustainability Advisor – Drive a Greener Future with the @One Alliance

Location: Peterborough / Hybrid

Who are we?

We’re the @one Alliance – a ground-breaking collaboration between Anglian Water and seven industry-leading partners: Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska and SWECO. Together, we deliver over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.

As we ramp up in AMP8, our most ambitious period yet, we’re delivering an even broader range of innovative and environmentally-driven infrastructure projects – from urban drainage to nature-based solutions like constructed wetlands.

Why join us?

Join us and play a key role in shaping a more sustainable future for our projects and communities. As part of the @one Alliance, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our construction activities not only meet environmental legislation but set the benchmark for best practice. You’ll work closely with site teams, providing expert guidance and hands-on support, while helping to develop and mentor our Environment and Sustainability Advisors.

This is your opportunity to drive real environmental performance, champion innovative sustainability initiatives, and influence strategic priorities alongside our Environment and Sustainability Managers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
