Senior Environmental Advisor
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 + package
Location: Birmingham and Greater Birmingham
We are currently recruiting for x2 Senior Environmental Advisors to join a leading infrastructure contractor working on a major UK infrastructure and civil engineering project.
You will work closely with the Environmental Manager and infrastructure teams to ensure environmental compliance and support the delivery of the project’s Environmental Management System.

- Provide environmental guidance to site and construction teams
- Conduct environmental inspections and audits
- Support implementation of environmental management systems
- Monitor areas including water, waste, ecology, noise, dust and pollution prevention
- Manage environmental risks, incidents and corrective actions
- Produce environmental reports and promote best practice
- Support and mentor junior environmental team members
About You:
- Environmental experience within construction or infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Environmental Management Systems and ISO 14001
- Experience completing environmental inspections and audits
- Degree in an environmental or scientific discipline, or equivalent experience
- Practitioner-level IEMA membership or equivalent
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
