Senior EPR Support Analyst
EPR Technical Support Analyst
About the Role
The post holder is an expert technical member of the Application Support Team and is responsible for providing technical support to the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) (Acute and Community systems).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line support for the Trust’s EPR systems, alongside any other key applications managed by the Lewisham and Greenwich IM&T Department.
- Manage TrackIT logs, assigning them appropriately to the Application Team support staff and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct system administration activities—including healthcare IT—to ensure the smooth operation of key community and acute systems, such as generating regular performance KPI reports for the Application Team.
- Enforce and oversee Change Control Procedures.
- Ensure systems are updated to meet new requirements.
- Negotiate with Oracle, RiO, and third-party vendors regarding:
- Timing and implementation of system configuration Service Request updates.
- Communication of these changes to the Trust.
- With input from the Systems Team Manager:
- Manage and action all requests for change, including building new functionality as needed.
- Support EPR systems upgrades, offering technical advice to users to maximise the benefits of IT systems.
- Deputise for the Lead EPR Support Analysts when required.
- Provide guidance and specialist technical training as needed.
