Senior Equipment Coordinator

The Senior Equipment Coordinator plays an important role in helping people receive the care they need by ensuring community healthcare teams and patients have the right equipment at the right time. As part of the Community Equipment Team, you will coordinate equipment provision, maintenance and support, working closely with clinicians, partner organisations, patients and carers.

The Team Delivers Three Key Services

  • Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES): Providing equipment that helps people stay safe and independent at home, while supporting equipment prescribers.
  • Medical Devices Management: Coordinating the servicing, repair and tracking of clinical equipment to keep it safe, compliant and ready for use.
  • Specialist Equipment Services: Managing specialist equipment and consumables for people with complex healthcare needs.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will process equipment requests, source and issue specialist devices, arrange deliveries, coordinate servicing and repairs, maintain accurate records, and respond to enquiries from a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • To support the equipment lead and specialist service manager in the safe & cost effective management provision of Community Equipment and Medical Devices.
  • Support ICES equipment prescribers across BNSSG area, setting up and modifying account access, as well as authorising equipment orders and providing advice.
  • Undertake the administrative process relating to Community Equipment across BNSSG referring to the Specialist Services Manager & Equipment Lead as required.
  • Lead on supplying suction units and consumables to patients with long term needs across BNSSG.
  • Be required to work autonomously to make decisions on equipment packages of care and the post involves a high proportion of time speaking to clinicians. The post will also be responsible for handling enquiries from inside and outside the organisation.
  • You will need to deputise for the Equipment Lead during leave and other absence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
