Senior Estimator
Sellafield IDP
Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
circa £70,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience) plus car allowance or company vehicle

About the role
We are currently looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Information, Senior Estimator to join our Sellafield IDP project.
Within the role you will be responsible for preparations of detailed and accurate pricing for tenders and supporting Clients with pricing support for early contractor involvement projects.

- Agree methodologies and outputs for key activities with planner and, where appropriate, with Bid Manager / Design Manager
- Provide advice on the most cost effective design options
You will be required to price estimate for tenders of budget pricing comprising the following aspects:
- Labour
- Plant
- Materials
- Subcontractors
- Temporary Works
- Staff
Please note that this role will be office based 5 days per week until successful completion of your probationary period where you can then apply to work from home 1 day per week.
About you
It is essential that you have sound knowledge of civil engineering and construction techniques and have previous experience of preparing project programmes for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Contractor using planning software and applications.
- Knowledge of relevant procurement legislation
- Commercial awareness of different forms of contract

Sound knowledge of the HOCHTIEF governance and procedural requirements for work winning and detailed knowledge of estimating software packages are essential for this role.
