About Synergize

Synergize is one of the UK's leading specialists in building safety, decarbonisation, refurbishment and planned maintenance, delivering high-quality projects across both the public and private sectors. Since 2004, we've built our reputation on delivering complex programmes safely, efficiently and to the highest standards - with expertise spanning building safety remediation, external wall systems, passive fire protection, energy efficiency improvements, retrofit and planned investment works.

Today, Synergize forms part of Grosvenor House Group (GHG) - a growing national group bringing together specialist businesses across facilities management, refurbishment, passive fire protection and property services. Being part of GHG means combining the agility and close-knit culture of a specialist contractor with the stability, investment and long-term opportunities of a larger organisation delivering projects across the UK.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for talented people who want to make a genuine impact, help shape the future of the business, and develop their careers within an ambitious and expanding group.

About the Role

As a Senior Estimator, you'll play a vital role in securing new business by producing accurate, competitive and commercially robust cost estimates across a diverse portfolio of Building Safety and Decarbonisation projects.

Working closely with the Pre-Construction, Commercial and Operational teams, you'll review tender documentation, undertake detailed cost analysis, obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, and develop pricing strategies that support successful bid submissions. You'll be responsible for identifying project risks and opportunities while ensuring all estimates align with client requirements, regulatory standards and company objectives.

Projects will typically include external wall remediation, fire safety improvements, cladding replacement, insulation upgrades, retrofit programmes, PAS 2030/2035 energy efficiency works, low-carbon heating solutions and wider building safety compliance schemes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
