The Role

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in shaping the financial success of a landmark nuclear infrastructure project. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for civil engineering packages
  • Analysing drawings and specifications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop competitive bids
  • Identifying cost risks and opportunities
  • Supporting tender presentations and client negotiations
  • Maintaining estimating databases to ensure compliance with governance standards

Qualifications & Experience

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator on major infrastructure projects (£50m+)
  • Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts and UK construction cost frameworks
  • A degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or related discipline
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance
