Senior Estimator

About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Estimator to prepare and produce accurate estimates for a wide range of tenders, contracts, and sub-contract works. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical information to support informed decision-making.

Location: Bowburn


What We Will Expect From You

  • Present accurate estimates to Senior Management for settlement on a timely basis
  • Prepare and produce sub-contractor packages for specialist work within required timeframes
  • Anticipate and identify risks and opportunities within the tender process
  • Provide regular feedback to the estimating team on progress
  • Demonstrate flexible timekeeping
  • Ensure workload is planned to meet client deadlines
  • Build estimates based on first principles
  • Liaise and work effectively with team members
  • Contribute to maintaining high Health and Safety standards in compliance with legislation
  • Commit to personal development through appraisals and training where needed
  • Uphold fairness and equality in the workplace, treating everyone with dignity and respect

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of occupational experience in estimation or a related field
  • Experience with causeway estimating packages (advantageous but not essential)
