Senior Estimator
About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Estimator to prepare and produce accurate estimates for a wide range of tenders, contracts, and sub-contract works. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical information to support informed decision-making.
Location: Bowburn
What We Will Expect From You
- Present accurate estimates to Senior Management for settlement on a timely basis
- Prepare and produce sub-contractor packages for specialist work within required timeframes
- Anticipate and identify risks and opportunities within the tender process
- Provide regular feedback to the estimating team on progress
- Demonstrate flexible timekeeping
- Ensure workload is planned to meet client deadlines
- Build estimates based on first principles
- Liaise and work effectively with team members
- Contribute to maintaining high Health and Safety standards in compliance with legislation
- Commit to personal development through appraisals and training where needed
- Uphold fairness and equality in the workplace, treating everyone with dignity and respect

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of occupational experience in estimation or a related field
- Experience with causeway estimating packages (advantageous but not essential)
Attributes & Skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and face-to-face)
- Strong telephone manner & proficiency
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Strong planning and organisational skills
