Exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator in Chorley with a market-leading salary package. Join a growing main contractor that is developing well in the north west construction market.
As a Senior Estimator, you will bring proven work-winning experience in new build affordable housing. The company delivers projects up to £19 million, primarily focusing on affordable housing and residential projects, with some commercial work as well.
Key Responsibilities
- Meeting the estimating requirements of designated projects.
- Collaborating closely with contracts management to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards.
- Presenting bids based on site data.
- Re-negotiating pricing for equipment or materials as necessary.
- Ensuring financial accuracy of designated tenders.
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Working with the Chief Estimator to enhance processes and procedures.

In this role, you will prepare procurement packages for subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive and accurate quotes. You will also support clients with budgeting and seek negotiated and repeat business.
