We're looking for a Senior Estimator to join our London team based in London.

Location: London

Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.


About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team in London. You'll be working closely with our established preconstruction team and clients to deliver value for money solutions on new build, refurbishment, Cat B fit out projects across the private and public sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your expertise in a collaborative environment where your skills and creativity will help shape innovative solutions for our clients.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Estimator, you'll be working within the preconstruction team, supporting them in developing solutions and pricing for projects. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Preparing multi-discipline tender pricing and producing differing levels of pricing, from top-down budgets to bottom-up lump sums
  • Working collaboratively with bid managers, planners, design managers, and delivery teams to develop innovative solutions
  • Identifying risks and opportunities whilst considering site safety, health, quality, and environmental issues
  • Co-ordinating and liaising with suppliers and specialist sub-contractors, including technical assessment of quotations
  • Compiling final submission documentation and ensuring all tenders meet commercial requirements whilst delivering to quality standards and meeting deadlines

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Estimator is great for you if:

  • You have a proven track record of successfully delivering tenders and pricing of varying size and complexity
  • You can manage a portfolio of projects in a framework environment with excellent organisational and planning skills
  • You're able to work within integrated teams and interact professionally with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • You have experience of the pre-construction phase of projects and can quickly identify risks and opportunities
  • You're competent in using various IT packages including estimating software and have experience working on construction projects
