The Role
The role Senior Estimator Painting & Decorating will involve:
- Estimator position dealing with a range of commercial painting & decorating projects
- Lead end-to-end tendering process, including take-offs, pricing, submission, and handover.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates using drawings, specifications, and estimating software.
- Manage and track tender opportunities within CRM, ensuring timely follow-ups to maximise conversions.
- Engage with clients and contractors through site visits, technical input, and value engineering to support bids.
- Collaborate with internal teams, lead handovers, and mentor junior estimators to strengthen delivery and capability.
- Working on project sizes varying in size from £4k to £4m

The Ideal Applicant
The ideal applicant will be a Senior Estimator Painting & Decorating with:
- Must have Estimating experience within one or more of the following; decorating, and /or painting sectors
- Preferably coming from a sub-contractor background with commercial project experience
- Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Full UK driving license
