Senior Event Programming Manager (12m FTC) – Maternity Cover
Location: Fulham Pier, Stevenage Road, Fulham, SW6 6HH
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus flexible benefits
Job Introduction:
Sodexo Live! is seeking a creative and commercially astute Senior Event Programming Manager – 12m FTC Maternity Cover to join the team at Fulham Pier, London’s newest riverside destination.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and delivery of a dynamic programme of ticketed events spanning culture, music, comedy, wellness, family, community, arts, learning, and live entertainment. You will play a key role in continuing to establish Fulham Pier as a vibrant destination, driving audience growth, enhancing visitor experience, and delivering strong commercial performance.
Working in close partnership with the Fulham Pier team, Sodexo Live! colleagues, and a network of suppliers, artists, promoters, and brand partners, you will curate and deliver a diverse and engaging events calendar that supports the venue’s strategic and commercial objectives.
What You'll Do:
Service & Guest Care
- Develop and deliver the venue’s overall creative programming strategy for ticketed events
- Curate a diverse calendar of events including, but not limited to, live performances, cultural events, immersive experiences, talks, workshops, and brand activations
- Foster a collaborative and inspiring team environment that motivates and encourages colleagues to engage and perform at their best
Management Skills:
- Foster and maintain a strong relationship with Fulham Pier’s programming team, holding regular meetings to review successes, set targets, and establish the events schedule
- Deliver programming that drives revenue, ticket sales, and attendance targets
- Work closely with commercial, marketing, and partnerships teams to maximize event performance
- Manage all aspects of artist/promoter/supplier relationships including negotiating fees, contracts, and commercial terms

Financial Management:
- Deliver budgeted revenue, profit, and contribution targets across all event categories and venue spaces
- Maximize revenue opportunities and profitability through effective commercial management, strategic pricing, yield optimization, and the use of venue management systems such as Priava, Salesforce, and other revenue management tools
- Maintain a thorough understanding of venue operating costs, margins, and resource requirements to ensure all event proposals and contracts are commercially viable and profitable
- Produce accurate monthly revenue forecasts, proactively identifying risks and opportunities to budget performance
Who We Are Looking For:
- A strong track record of developing and delivering creative event programmes
- Experience working in a commercial events, cultural, entertainment, or venue environment
- Excellent knowledge of the London events market and current audience trends
- A strong network of artists, suppliers, promoters, content providers, and creative partners
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing budgets, margins, revenue targets, and event profitability
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across integrated client, venue, and operational teams
- A creative, forward-thinking mindset with the ability to generate fresh and engaging programming ideas
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple events, suppliers, and priorities
- A collaborative, people-focused approach and the ability to build positive, long-lasting relationships
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make confident decisions, and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Flexibility to support events outside of standard office hours when required
- A genuine passion for creating memorable experiences and contributing to the growth of a new destination
