About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Event Solutions Consultant to join our Delegate Management team. Acting as the senior technical lead, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and optimizing event technology solutions using a range of event management platforms, tools, and applications.

You will lead the technical delivery of client solutions across registration platforms, websites, communications, and integrations, ensuring solutions are scalable, high-quality, and aligned to client requirements. This is a highly consultative, client-facing role where you will build strong relationships, lead technical discussions, and contribute to the commercial success of projects through expert solution design and delivery.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Event Solutions Consultant, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, testing, and delivery of event technology solutions across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Act as the senior subject matter expert across delegate management and event technology platforms, including Cvent, RainFocus, Swoogo, Certain, and GRIP.
  • Translate client requirements into efficient, innovative, and scalable technical solutions, troubleshooting complex issues and supporting delivery where needed.
  • Partner with clients, Sales, Operations, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution, strong communication, and high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Support commercial success through accurate scoping, solution design, pre-sales support, optimisation opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

You’re Good At:

  • Delivering registration, delegate management or event technology solutions in a client-facing environment.
  • Managing complex technical projects while balancing multiple priorities, maintaining quality, and attention to detail.
  • Working consultatively with clients to understand requirements and lead technical workshops, discussions, and demonstrations.
  • Utilizing event technology platforms and understanding integrations, APIs, reporting, data management, and system configuration.
  • Communicating clearly with stakeholders, solving problems effectively, and contributing to commercially successful outcomes.

You Might Also Have:

  • Experience in a senior or lead role with ownership of stakeholders, clients, and technical delivery.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales activity, RFP responses, and technical proposal development.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to best practice, documentation, and process improvement.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • You must hold the right to work in the UK.
  • You must have the ability and willingness to travel in the UK and overseas.
  • This is a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days a week in the BCD Fleet office.

Working Conditions

  • Standard working hours: 09:00 – 17:30 with an hour break.
