Location: Aberdeen
Department: Finance, Commercial & Corporate Services
Reporting to: Head of Events
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time (Mon–Fri, 9am –5pm, with additional hours worked as required for events)
Salary: Competitive

🚀 About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Events Adviser to take ownership of a portfolio of high-profile events that sit at the heart of OEUK’s member offering.
From business breakfasts and conferences to large-scale exhibitions and awards ceremonies, you’ll deliver impactful, high-quality events that strengthen our reputation, engage members, and generate revenue.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping our events strategy—bringing fresh ideas, strong commercial awareness, and exceptional delivery expertise.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end event delivery – planning, execution, and post-event analysis
- Stakeholder collaboration – working closely with internal teams, sponsors, and industry leaders
- Budget management – ensuring events are commercially successful and well-managed
- Marketing & promotion – supporting integrated campaigns across digital, social, and print
- Speaker & programme management – securing speakers and delivering compelling agendas
- Supplier & venue coordination – managing relationships and ensuring quality delivery
- Event performance tracking – analysing outcomes and identifying improvements
- Event innovation – developing new concepts and enhancing existing offerings

🧠 What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering corporate events end-to-end
- Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship building
- Experience working across marketing campaigns and event promotion
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
