About the Role
We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to support the planning, execution, and evaluation of high-quality corporate hospitality—both in-person and virtual events. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across Business Development, Brand, and Marketing Communications teams, as well as with Partners, Directors, and senior fee earners, to deliver innovative and impactful events that align with the firm’s strategic objectives and reinforce client relationships.
This role is part of a newly established centralised events unit, driving a cross-jurisdiction programme that maximises engagement, extraction, and business development ROI.
Key Responsibilities
Event Strategy & Planning
- Develop and deliver an events programme in line with service line plans, priorities, and target markets
- Produce innovative event formats, venues, and experiences to differentiate the firm, enhance brand visibility, and maximise client engagement
- Ensure adherence to governance processes and event best practices
- Research and evaluate event ideas from the Business Development team, providing strategic recommendations for implementation
- Guarantee compliance with firm policies, financial controls, brand guidelines, and regulatory considerations

Event Delivery
- Oversee the end-to-end management of diverse events:
- Ogier seminars, webinars, conferences
- Thought leadership and roundtable discussions (in-person, hybrid, and virtual)
- Exhibition stands at industry conferences
- Client entertainment and corporate hospitality campaigns
- Support event execution across jurisdictions, aligning with quality standards and service level agreements
- Coordinate logistical elements:
- Venue and supplier selection
- Catering, production, and branded collateral
- Merchandise, gifts, and attendee integration
- Manage budgets rigorously, optimising cost efficiency without compromising quality or client experience
- Attend events domestically and internationally to ensure execution meets standards, oversee stakeholder relations, and uphold firm expectations
- Handle invitations, RSVPs, and attendance tracking, integrating CRM data capture to inform business intelligence and development strategies
Post-Event Analysis
- Compile detailed post-event reports covering:
- Attendance analysis
- Budget variances and spend analysis
- Key insights to inform future activities and refining business strategy

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Required
- 3–4 years’ experience in event planning and delivery, including:
- Managing multiple events simultaneously, covering logistics, supplier coordination, budgeting, invitations, and attendee management
- Proficiency in CRM, email marketing, and event management tools (e.g., Eventbrite, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to collaborate across teams and geographies, delivering in a fast-paced environment
- Operational excellence with a client-centric mindset and expertise in professional services or corporate setting
Desirable
- Experience with virtual and hybrid events, including digital/events platforms (Zoom, Hopin, etc.)
- Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and manage stakeholder expectations
- Strong organisational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
- Experience in a global, client-focused business, showcasing how events drive business outcomes
