Senior Events Executive - 12 month FTC
Events Manager Department: Business Development & Marketing | Location: London
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to support the planning, execution and evaluation of high-quality corporate hospitality and events—both in-person and virtual—that will:
- Strengthen client relationships
- Enhance the firm’s market profile
- Support strategic business objectives
This role sits within a newly created centralised events unit, working closely with Business Development, Brand & Marketing Communications teams, as well as Partners, Directors and fee earners, to deliver innovative, high-impact events aligned with the firm’s business development strategies, plans, budgets, and target markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with Business Development, Branding, and Marketing to design an events programme that aligns with service line plans, priorities, and target markets.
- Generate innovative event ideas, venue suggestions, and engagement-driven formats that differentiate the firm and maximise client interaction.
- Ensure events adhere to standardised workflows, governance policies, and best practices.
- Assess event requests from BDMs and fee earners, providing data-driven recommendations to maximise impact and ROI.
- Confirm compliance with:
- Financial/budget controls
- Brand guidelines
- Regulatory and reputational standards
2. Event Delivery
Manage end-to-end execution of a diverse event portfolio, including:
- Seminars, webinars, conferences, and thought leadership events (in-person, hybrid, and virtual)
- Roundtables at industry conferences
- Client entertainment, corporate hospitality
- Execution stands for exhibitions
- Provision of activations, branding, merchandise, and hospitality

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics (venues, suppliers, catering, production) with Brand & Marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and on-brand experiences.
- Track budgets tightly, optimising spend while maintaining high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
- Attend events in-person (including overseas) to oversee delivery, manage stakeholders, and uphold standards—travelling may be required.
- Handle RSVPs, invitation flows, and attendee tracking, integrating data into CRM systems to support business development.
- Compile post-event reports, providing:
- Attendance analytics
- Budget tracking reports
- Key insights to inform future event strategies
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications
Essential
- 3–4 years’ experience in an events role, including:
- Planning/managing multiple event types simultaneously
- Logistics coordination, supplier management, and attendee engagement
- Proficiency in:
- CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Email marketing & event management platforms (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite)
- Full MS Office suite (With Advanced proficiency, ideally working globally via Teams/Outlook)
- Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and prioritisation abilities
- Experience in a client-facing role with a service-minded approach
- Skilled at managing multiple stakeholders (including senior leadership) with competing demands
- Fluid written/verbal communication and ability to represent the firm’s brand authentically

Desirable
- Experience with hybrid/virtual events and event technologies (e.g., Zoom, Hopin, لیکن Showx, or production equipment)
- Background in professional services, corporate environments, or event agencies
- Understanding of regulatory/budget constraints and cross-departmental resource allocation
Requirements of the Person
- Proven ability to:
- Aligned events with business goals (not just logistics).
- Collaborate across geographies and teams.
- Manage virtual/physical delivery simultaneously.
- Positive client-facing role where events drive returns (business development and networking).
- Experience with:** CRM platforms, email campaigns, venues, suppliers & event techs**
