Senior Events Ops Manager

The Role

Be part of one of London's most significant cultural openings.

On 28th November 2026, the new London Museum will open its doors in the heart of historic Smithfield, marking the culmination of a decade long transformation of the iconic Victorian General Market into one of the world's most exciting new cultural destinations. Bringing together thousands of years of London's history with an ambitious programme of world class events, experiences and hospitality, the museum is set to become a landmark destination for Londoners and international visitors alike.

Green & Fortune has been selected as the hospitality partner for this extraordinary venue, creating a unique opportunity for an exceptional hospitality leader to help shape its future from day one.

We are seeking an ambitious and inspirational Senior Events Ops Manager to lead one of London's most prestigious event operations. This is far more than an operational leadership role. It is an opportunity to build a flagship events business, establish world class standards and create experiences that become synonymous with one of London's most anticipated openings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and operational delivery of a diverse portfolio of events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and outstanding service standards.
  • Drive operational excellence through effective planning, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead, inspire and develop a high performing Events Operations team, creating a positive and engaging culture.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Culinary, Front of House and the wider leadership team to deliver seamless event experiences.
  • Oversee workforce planning, scheduling and labour cost management to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage budgets, monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders, ensuring every event exceeds expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, food safety, licensing and all relevant company policies.
  • Manage external suppliers and agency partners to support successful event delivery.
  • Contribute to the successful launch and ongoing growth of the London Museum hospitality operation, helping to establish it as one of London's leading events destinations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
