Our client, a global specialist insurer have a vacancy for a Senior Exposure Management Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing and analysing exposure across their diverse international portfolio, including non-natural catastrophe risks (such as Cyber). You’ll work closely with underwriting, actuarial, and risk teams to support modelling, scenario analysis, and internal reporting, gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and proprietary models in a collaborative, innovative environment.

In this role, you will take a proactive part in enhancing exposure management processes and capabilities. You’ll help drive projects, improve data flows, contribute to internal “view of risk” reporting, and support external regulatory exercises such as Lloyd’s RDS. It’s a role that combines technical analysis with problem-solving and collaboration, providing exposure to both day-to-day risk management and strategic insights into the business. Your work will directly influence decision-making across underwriting and risk functions, giving you meaningful impact from day one.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
