Required in Tewkesbury, working within a manufacturing environment

Monday to Friday, weekly rotating shifts (06:00–14:30 / 14:00–22:30) 20% shift allowance on late shift. This role offers a permanent opportunity with strong earning potential upwards of £45,000 – £50,000 per annum, plus overtime at premium rates.

Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Tewkesbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production site offering long-term stability, ongoing investment, and a key role supporting site operations.

The Role

Working as a Senior Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving all site facilities, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure smooth and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining site services including HVAC, compressed air, electrical systems, and utilities
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
  • Supporting infrastructure upgrades and site improvement projects
  • Managing contractors, permits to work, and ensuring compliance
  • Monitoring facility performance and minimising downtime
  • Working closely with production and engineering teams
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance and compliance records

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have strong facilities or maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.

  • Proven experience in facilities or maintenance engineering within manufacturing
  • Strong electrical and/or mechanical knowledge
  • Experience with PPM systems and maintenance planning
  • Knowledge of contractor management and compliance processes
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Good understanding of health & safety regulations

Shift Pattern & Pay

  • Day Shift: 06:00 – 14:30 – £20.00 – £22.00 per hour
  • Mid Shift: 14:00 – 22:30 – 20% shift allowance (£24.00 – £26.40 per hour)
  • Overtime: Paid at a premium rate after 40 hours
