Summary

The Facilities Department are responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and management of our properties and assets to ensure that they are maintained to the highest standard, providing an optimal environment for our operational teams and customers, and adhering to all Health and Safety standards. Additionally, they ensure that costs associated with the property maintenance and asset management are proactively managed and controlled.

What you'll do

  • Controlling and overseeing the strategic activity and delivery of all facility management projects
  • Line management responsibility ensuring support and development of team member
  • Auditing of new and current service providers
  • Manage external contractors and ensure compliance standards are met in line with legal and health and safety standards
  • Identifying opportunities that will continuously improve all aspects of the operation
  • Analysing and optimising efficiencies for daily operations and identifying cost savings initiatives

What you'll need

  • Previous experience collaborating with other business units to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Proficient in Google Workspace tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & communication skills both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised individually or as part of a team
  • Leadership skills with proven experience of leading, supporting and mentoring teams
  • Strong administration, organizational, documentation and analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work under strict timescales to meet deadlines and work on multiple tasks at one time ensuring that all tasks are completed
  • Full driving licence required
