Senior Associate – Family Law

5-10 years PQE, Sussex
Salary up to 80K. Hybrid Working

Are you a senior associate looking to join a highly reputable team in a beautiful Horsham office just a short walk from the station? This close-knit team of 14 offers a modern, welcoming environment with hybrid working and a genuinely supportive culture.

The firm is ideally seeking someone to cover a maternity FTC, but they are equally open to appointing a permanent senior associate if the right person comes along. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior associate to join their highly reputable team and step into a strong, established caseload.

As a senior figure, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional client care, supporting Directors and mentoring junior colleagues. A senior associate to join their highly reputable team here is viewed as an ambassador—someone who represents the firm’s values, drives quality and contributes to the growth of privately funded family work. The Senior Associate performs with a high level of responsibility and accountability, positioned between Directors and Associates, trusted to self-manage, exceed financial targets and build strong referral networks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
