Senior FF&E Designer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior FF&E Designer to join a respected London-based interiors consultancy focused on prestigious international hospitality and high-end residential projects.


The ideal candidate should have:

  • At least eight years of relevant experience in hospitality, restaurants, or luxury residential design
  • A proven ability to:
    • Lead small-to-medium projects or
    • Contribute effectively to larger, complex schemes within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Concept Development

  • Develop design concepts, including FF&E sourcing & specification, for:
    • Hotels
    • Restaurants
    • Luxury residences
  • Help define:
    • Overall design narratives
    • Material palettes
    • Project vision

Presentation & Documentation

  • Produce presentation materials, including:
    • Mood boards
    • Design schemes
    • Sample boards for:
      • Finishes
      • Fabrics
      • Furniture
      • Accessories

Technical & Project Coordination

  • Draft detailed FF&E specifications and documentation
  • Design bespoke furniture
  • Produce technical drawings where applicable
  • Support cost management through:
    • Budget development
    • Value engineering
    • Quantity assessments
  • Oversee:
    • Samples
    • Shop drawing reviews
    • Manufacturing monitoring
  • Ensure alignment of FF&E deliverables within broader design packages

Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration

  • Maintain regular engagement with:
    • Clients
    • Consultants
    • Suppliers
    • Contractors
  • Attend:
    • Site meetings
    • Presentations
  • Occasionally travel internationally for project support
