Overview
As a FIDIC Engineer/Contract Administrator at Linesight, you will collaborate with highly experienced, culturally diverse teams to foster strong social dynamics, shared achievements and industry growth. The Opportunity
In this role, you will:
- Act as the contract administrator, ensuring all contractual obligations under the FIDIC form of contract are upheld and executed effectively.
- Lead and manage the contract administration process, including:
- Handling notices, instructions, claims, and variations
- Ensuring compliance with contractual timelines and procedures
- Coordinate closely with client, consultant, and contractor teams to align objectives and ensure clear communication on contractual and commercial matters.
- Provide expert guidance on:
- FIDIC contract interpretation
- Claims assessment
- Dispute resolution
- Lead and attend key project and progress meetings, delivering expert insights on contract administration and performance oversight.
- Implement and monitor key project procedures, ensuring adherence to project governance and FIDIC standards.
- Support continuous improvement by reviewing and refining contract administration processes.

Requirements
This role would suit those who:
- Hold at least 5 years of experience administering FIDIC construction contracts.
- Are graduates or have equivalent qualifications in:
- Construction Management
- Engineering
- Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Possess expert technical knowledge of FIDIC contract forms and their application in construction projects.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to:
- Manage contract correspondence, notices, and claims with precision and professionalism.
- Display exceptional written and verbal communication skills, prioritising clarity and accuracy.
- Are detail-oriented, highly organised, and adept at managing documentation and processes across multiple stakeholders.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment, building trust with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Ideally hold contract administration certifications, such as MRICS, MCIOB, or PMP.
Experience will be assessed via interviews conducted in person or virtually (with video required).
