Travelport is the brains behind lots of your travel bookings- plane, car or hotel. Our technology is used to book that magical holiday, long-awaited bucket list trip or that overdue school reunion. While we can’t solve mosquito bites or lost luggage, we can simplify a lot of the technical parts of travel, and we’re looking for the best thinkers to help us do it.
We’re hiring right now for a Senior Finance Accountant! Search for #Travelport on LinkedIn and hear from our amazing team.
How you’ll make an impact:
This is an integral role within the Travelport Controllership team, which is responsible for all external reporting, technical accounting and accounting policy setting for the Travelport group. This role will report to the Technical Accounting Manager and will be responsible for supporting the controllership team on all complex/technical accounting areas- from setting the policies to supporting and delivering the implementation, as well as providing ad-hoc accounting advice on operational and corporate accounting matters. This role will also play a key role in driving our global statutory accounts compliance process, coordinating internal and external stakeholders and auditors.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
