Senior Finance Analyst | Professional Services | Central London (Hybrid) | £60,000–£65,000 | Permanent Role

⚠️ Due to business needs, there is a strong preference for candidates who are available on a short notice period (up to one month).

Robert Half are recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst to join a large, international professional services organisation on a permanent basis, based in Central London. This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, drive financial planning and analysis activities, and provide commercial insight across multiple business sectors.

The organisation operates globally across a range of complex, project-led environments, delivering advisory and professional services solutions to clients across multiple industries. With continued growth and investment, finance plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making, operational performance, and long-term business success.

📊 About the Position

Sat within the Finance Business Partnering team, you will play a key role in supporting the business through:

  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across a portfolio of business sectors.
  • Delivering detailed financial analysis, identifying key trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
  • Producing insightful management reporting and KPI analysis to support senior leadership decision-making.
  • Consolidating financial information across multiple business areas and ensuring reporting accuracy.
  • Supporting scenario modelling and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Reviewing and challenging financial assumptions to improve forecasting accuracy and commercial outcomes.
  • Partnering with operational and regional stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insight.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting, planning, and financial processes.
  • Contributing to governance, controls, and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance.

📋 What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • We would also consider finalists who are close to completing their ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
  • Strong experience within FP&A, commercial finance, finance business partnering, or financial analysis roles.
  • Advanced budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and business partnering experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and communicate findings effectively.
  • Experience presenting financial information and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel and strong systems skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • A proactive and commercially focused mindset with a passion for driving business performance.
