We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our Media Networks and Ad Sales team! The Media Networks and Ad Sales team is responsible for managing and consolidating the Channels business in EMEA across Family (Disney Channel & Disney Junior), Factual (Nat Geo), Entertainment (Star, FX) and Sports (ESPN). Whilst also leading the financial processes across Ad Sales, from a Disney+, Nat Geo, DDN & Linear perspective.
As a Senior Finance Analyst, the successful postholder will be responsible for delivering an effective, timely, and accurate AOP, Forecast, LRP, and close process across a group of markets along with completing regional costs and consolidation. The role requires effective collaboration with financial and non-financial business partners, influence key budget holders around risks and opportunities, and proactively identify opportunities for business improvement.

Please note: This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).

What You Will Do
- Be an integral member of the Media Finance team providing finance and business support to the Sports and Ad Sales teams.
- Assist with quarterly Forecasting, AOP, and LRP processes and all related deliverables and presentations across Sports, Digital Ad Sales & D+ Ad Sales.
- Responsible for managing UK Channels and Digital Ad Sales P&L's and providing guidance and support to business stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate the Quarterly Close process, across Media Networks and Digital Ad Sales.
- Work closely with the Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of D+ Ad Sales revenues and cost tracking.
- Support the Finance Manager and Director with any ad-hoc analysis, financial modelling, reporting, and presentations as required.
- Liaise with and provide guidance and support to all EMEA territory Finance teams.
- Adopt a flexible approach to provide ad hoc finance support to the finance leadership across all Media lines of business.
- Management and development of Finance Intern.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Degree Qualified and ACA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis, experience of working in a similar role within the Media/Ad Sales sector preferable.
- Experience working with financial IT systems, experience working with SAP/BW and Cognos Reporting, and excellent proven Excel skills.
- Experience of leveraging large datasets to provide financial & commercial insight.
- Experience of working with and providing financial support to operational and commercial teams in a timely & responsive manner.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to produce clear and insightful presentations that deliver key messaging at the appropriate level of detail.
- Financial modelling and analysis.
- Knowledge & experience of using Power Query is advantageous but not required.
- Numerate and analytical with a desire to think through and resolve problems.
- Results focused and outcome driven.
