The Team
The Global Liquidity Management (GLM) team is responsible for:
- Preparing timely liquidity reporting across the organization
- Collaborating with global teams located in various locations
The 28+-member Chester team has historically focused on:
- All EMEA-based reporting
- Key regulatory requirements for the UK, Ireland, and across the EU
This new opportunity will:
- Allow the onboarding of more global-focused work
- Complement existing responsibilities
An associate within the GLM team can expect to:
- Gain exposure to all products in which the bank does business
- Work closely with multiple departments within the Chief Finance Office, such as:
- Data Management
- Line of Business Finance
- Financial Controller team
- Develop knowledge of business operations and financial reporting capabilities/requirements
- Partner with global teams to:
- Enhance existing technologies
- Share best practices in efficiency and operational excellence

Responsibilities
- Perform reporting, monitoring, and analytics related to:
- Liquidity submissions
- Liquidity management metrics
- Understand liquidity reporting rules and pertinent data requirements
- Enhance processes to:
- Streamline reporting
- Expand analytical capabilities
- Conduct system testing and understand impacts on the end-to-end liquidity processes
- Ensure:
- Documentation and reporting controls are current
- Operational risks are managed effectively
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects for:
- Senior management
- Regulatory oversight
Requirements
Essential
- Degree with a 2:1 classification or above, or equivalent
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, including:
- Data manipulation and analysis
- Strong analytical experience with attention to detail
- Solid understanding of complex financial products
- Experience preparing presentations for:
- Senior management
- Regulatory bodies
- Ability to partner with various organizational levels and solve problems
- Display:
- Intellectual curiosity
- Organizational skills
- Ability to multitask while working with limited supervision
Preferred
- Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining reporting in a structured manner
- Direct experience in Corporate Treasury, ideally within a financial institution
- Exposure to Global Markets or Line of Business (LoB) functions
- Background in regulatory reporting
