Senior Technology & Change Finance Analyst

6-month FTC

Location: Manchester - Hybrid

Are you a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment?

We’re looking for a Senior Technology & Change Finance Analyst to provide high-quality financial insight across a major technology and transformation portfolio. Working within a supportive finance team, you’ll help senior stakeholders understand where money is being invested, whether programmes are delivering value and how decisions will affect costs, benefits and EBITDA.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant who wants to move beyond traditional reporting and build experience across technology investment, business change and senior stakeholder partnering.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis across technology costs, investments and change programmes.
  • Provide clear, meaningful insight that helps senior leaders make informed commercial decisions.
  • Track project expenditure, investment delivery and benefit realisation across the change portfolio.
  • Review and challenge project business cases, including costs, assumptions, benefits, risks and expected returns.
  • Assess the financial impact of programme risks, scope changes, opportunities and system implementations.
  • Support month-end and forecasting processes, working closely with Controllership to maintain strong financial governance.
  • Partner with Technology, Change and Finance stakeholders to identify cost efficiencies and EBITDA improvements.
  • Support major system implementations, operating model changes and process redesign initiatives.
  • Improve reporting, forecasting models, controls and processes to provide greater visibility of financial performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
