About the Role
We are representing a successful and growing property finance company based in North London, specialising in bespoke funding solutions across a diverse property portfolio. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Assistant to join their friendly and expanding finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take on a varied role, supporting the day-to-day finance function and ensuring accurate financial reporting within a dynamic and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
- Bookkeeping and posting journal entries using double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Managing daily payment runs and processing payments
- Monitoring and allocating receivables
- Preparing portfolio statements for funders
- Drafting mortgage and repayment statements for borrowers
- Managing the accounts inbox and resolving queries
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Supporting credit control activities and reporting

Key Requirements
- AAT qualification (or equivalent recognised accounting/bookkeeping qualification) is essential.
- 3 years+ experience in an accounts or finance role, within property finance (bridging, buy-to-let, residential, or commercial lending)
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
