About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Assistant. The position is based in Winsford and involves managing key accounting, assisting in-house payroll and finance responsibilities to support business operations effectively.

Description
- Manage sales ledger activities, including invoicing and customer account maintenance.
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and control account reconciliations.
- Process journals and general ledger postings.
- Support purchase ledger activities and supplier payments as required.
- Assist with month-end processes and financial reporting.
- Support the administration of in-house payroll, including data collation, payroll checks, and employee queries.
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Profile
A Successful Senior Finance Assistant Should Have
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance or accounts role.
- Strong experience in sales ledger, invoicing, reconciliations, and general ledger postings.
- Experience supporting in-house payroll.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
