Description
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning across multiple global business areas, ensuring robust financial planning aligned to divisional strategy.
- Own performance reporting, providing insightful variance analysis, commercial challenge and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive investment planning, capital forecasting, business case governance and cost optimisation across the portfolio.
- Oversee weekly sales forecasts, monthly management reporting, balance sheet forecasting and KPI reporting, continuously improving reporting quality and processes.
- Support Group Tax with annual R&D claims and coordinate budget consolidation across global business areas.
- Develop and enhance FP&A processes, reporting tools and financial insight to improve business performance.

Financial Modelling & Projects
- Develop and maintain financial models supporting strategic planning, investment decisions, scenario modelling and business cases.
- Oversee financial tracking of capital and operational projects, ensuring robust reporting, governance and budget control.
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with senior operational leaders, providing commercial insight, financial challenge and decision support across Innovation, Digital, Sustainability and other global functions.
- Build strong relationships across Finance, Legal, Tax, Supply and Sales to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Prepare and present financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership, supporting investment decisions and strategic priorities.
- Support royalty, recharge and intercompany processes, ensuring robust governance and consistent financial reporting across the Group.
- Work closely with Financial Reporting teams to ensure accurate, timely and policy-compliant management reporting.
Leadership
- Lead, coach and develop a team of four Management Accountants, driving performance, succession planning and professional development.

Projects
- Support the wider Finance Leadership Team on strategic projects, business initiatives and audit requirements as required.
Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with significant post-qualified commercial finance experience.
- Strong FP&A, financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis capability within a multinational environment.
- Advanced Excel, financial modelling and experience using ERP/accounting systems.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and deliver actionable commercial insight.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders.
- Commercially minded, with strong business acumen and the ability to support strategic decision-making.
- Proven problem-solving skills, adaptable to changing business priorities and environments.
- Experience leading, collaborating and building relationships across cross-functional teams.
- High levels of integrity, attention to detail and understanding of financial governance and regulatory compliance.
