We’re seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to contribute to our mission: "Earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service."
Purpose of the Role
To support:
- Monthly reporting and financial forecasting processes
- Business planning cycles
- Relationships with key internal stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
Month-End Reporting
- Support end-of-month processes
- Take ownership of key business areas, including indirect costs of sales, overheads, margin analysis, and project-level performance
- Review month-to-date vs. budget performance
- Prepare and post compliant journals within deadlines
- Develop and present monthly financial performance packs for senior stakeholders
- Approve journals raised by direct reports
- Compile data for group management accounts and Budget Committee packs

Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Planning
- Lead the annual budgeting and business planning processes
- Guide budget holders through the budget cycle, ensuring accurate and complete submissions
- Deliver actionable insights into budgets to identify trends and communicate findings
- Present budget packs during the Executive reporting cycle
- Support group-level cost management, including EBITDA budgeting
- Assist with group financial modelling (balance sheet, annual budget, business valuation)
Insight & Analysis
- Monitor KPIs and highlight deviations, driving corrective actions with internal teams
- Strengthen business relationships to maximise operational efficiency
- Gather and analyse data for financial, commercial, and corporate teams
- Support monthly internal reviews (incl. Finance Committee meetings) with tailored reports and agendas
- Develop ad hoc financial models for investment/business decisions
Systems Development
- Collaborate with IT project teams consultant to enhance financial systems (e.g., Prophix, D365, Atlas)
Requirements
Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)

Experience & Knowledge
- Proven track record in management accounting/business partnering, delivering results on time
- Experience building and maintaining relationships across organisational levels
Skills & Abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (interpreting multi-formula spreadsheets)
- (Desirable) Real-world experience in commercial environments
- (Desirable) Line management experience
- (Desirable) Familiarity with Microsoft D365, Atlas, and Prophix
