Perfect for an experienced Finance Business Partner who enjoys influencing senior leaders, challenging commercial thinking and driving measurable business performance.
We're looking for a commercially astute Senior Finance Business Partner to join Ground Control and become a trusted advisor to divisional leadership teams across the business.
This is far more than a traditional finance role. You'll work alongside senior operational leaders, helping them understand what's driving business performance, identifying opportunities for growth, challenging assumptions and supporting strategic decision-making through meaningful commercial insight.
You'll be someone who enjoys asking the difficult questions, influencing decision-making and helping leaders balance commercial priorities with long-term business success. Through building strong relationships and providing clear financial direction, you'll play a key role in shaping the performance of your division.
Whether you're leading strategic planning, developing investment cases, improving financial performance or driving continuous improvement, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact across the business. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced commercial environment where your expertise directly influences business decisions, you'll find plenty of opportunity to make your mark.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
