A growing, forward-thinking financial services organisation is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join its high-performing Strategy & Planning team. This role is ideal for a qualified finance professional who enjoys modelling, partnering with senior leaders, and shaping commercial decision-making.

Role Details

Location: Leicestershire (Hybrid)
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

You’ll play a key role in delivering robust financial plans, forecasts, and performance insight. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll challenge assumptions, analyse trends, build scenarios, and support strategic decision-making across the business. This role suits someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, brings strong analytical capability, and can translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles
  • Partner with senior management to agree key metrics, assumptions, and targets
  • Review and challenge financial outputs, highlighting variances and commercial impacts
  • Build and evolve financial models and pricing tools to support decision-making
  • Produce weekly and monthly performance analysis, dashboards, and commentary
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation across FP&A processes
  • Support month-end activities including variance analysis
  • Build strong relationships across Finance, Treasury, and wider business teams

What You’ll Bring

  • Fully qualified finance professional (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
  • Strong financial modelling and Excel capability
  • Experience in financial services or a regulated environment
  • Commercially minded with the ability to interpret and simplify complex data
  • Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders
  • Proactive, self-starting approach with strong problem-solving skills
