What you'll do
As our Senior Finance Business Partner - Corporate Services & PMO, you'll play a pivotal role in providing strategic financial leadership and partnering support across our Corporate Services and Project Management Office (PMO).
Reporting into the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you'll work closely with senior leaders to shape financial strategy, influence decision-making, and ensure resources are aligned to deliver organisational priorities. You'll provide expert financial advice, insightful analysis and robust financial planning that enables our Corporate Services and PMO functions to deliver value for our residents and colleagues.

How you'll do it
- Partner with Corporate Services and PMO leadership teams, providing strategic financial advice and challenge.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting across your business areas.
- Develop financial strategies that support departmental objectives while aligning with NHG's wider corporate goals.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and performance reporting to support informed business decisions.
- Monitor and optimise financial performance, identifying opportunities for efficiencies and improved value for money.
- Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, becoming a trusted business advisor.
- Produce flexible and meaningful financial reporting that supports evolving business needs.
- Support business cases, investment decisions and transformation initiatives with high-quality financial analysis.
- Ensure strong financial governance, compliance and effective financial controls across Corporate Services and PMO.

Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
Essential:
- CCAB qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent) with evidence of continuing professional development.
- Significant experience in finance business partnering within a large or complex organisation.
- Proven ability to influence decision-making at both operational and strategic levels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information and present clear recommendations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience developing effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI desirable.
- Experience managing, developing and motivating individuals or teams to achieve high performance.
- A strong understanding of financial governance, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
