Senior Finance Business Partner
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Finance Business Partner.
This is a high-visibility Finance Business Partner role sitting at the heart of the CFO team, partnering directly with senior front-office leaders to shape performance, resourcing decisions, and strategic direction. You’ll have genuine end-to-end ownership as the Finance Lead for the Infrastructure Finance product (with exposure across the wider CMA portfolio), combining commercial insight and sharp analytics across key drivers (revenues, RWA and costs) with the influence to challenge and steer senior stakeholders. The role offers clear scope to improve how the business is run through better MI, tighter forecasting, and disciplined execution, alongside strong governance and control responsibility ideal if you enjoy turning ambiguity into action and want a platform to make tangible impact with real support to implement better ways of working.

In this role you will:
- Own the end-to-end finance agenda for Infrastructure Finance: performance insight, reporting, forecasting, and business reviews (the “what/why/so what”)
- Partner and influence senior stakeholders (Product Heads, COOs, CFOs) with forward-looking analysis, scenarios, and clear recommendations
- Drive disciplined performance management across key drivers revenues, RWA, and costs including tracking actions and ensuring delivery against targets
- Lead planning and forecasting: build robust plans, challenge assumptions, surface risks/opportunities early, and translate updates into measurable actions
- Improve MI and ways of working: simplify/standardise reporting, improve information flow, reduce manual effort (working with global/offshore teams) while maintaining strong governance and control

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Demonstrable business partnering experience within a Finance function
- Internal controls experience is essential working within governance and internal control frameworks (e.g., audit/regulatory expectations)
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience
- Banking product knowledge (e.g., Infrastructure Finance), able to connect financial outcomes to underlying business drivers
- Proven performance analysis, forecasting, and planning capability turning insight into concrete actions and decisions
- Demonstrable experience of engaging and collaborating at Business CEO level aligned to being a trusted advisor
- Extensive experience working in a global team and handling ad hoc deliverables, including programme/project management with risks & issues management
