As the Senior Finance Business Partner within our Insurance, Pensions & Investments > Intermediary Wealth business, you’ll:
- Drive strategic decisions through data, analysis, and cross-functional partnerships.
- Lead a team and collaborate with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Turn ambition into measurable business results through influential engagement—helping to shape the future direction of a major financial institution.

Key Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:

Leading the Intermediary Wealth Business Partnering team
- Steering team strategy, growth, and operational improvements.
- Guiding transformation initiatives in alignment with business direction.

Financial roadmapping & reporting
- Developing forecasts, performative analytics, and financial insights.
- Collaborating across teams to ensure financial accountability and organisational interlock.

Cost optimisation & effectiveness reviews
- Assessing the operating model and unit expenses for efficiency.
- Leading penetration into business case development and benefit tracking.

Who You Are
We’re looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner with:
Professional Qualifications
- Actually qualified as an accountant or an actuary.
Experience & Expertise
✔ 5+ years at a commercial level: applying financial principles to drive tangible business results. ✔ 5+ years proving business partnering capabilities—proficiency in collaboration across departments and cultures. ✔ Leadership in a small team environment:
- Prioritising workflow, directing effort, and fostering team development. ✔ Experience in constructive challenge: challenging (or being challenged) by peers to inform strong, data-backed decisions. ✔ Expertise in advanced data analytics, visualisation, and turning numbers into compelling storytelling for both senior leadership and diverse business teams.
