Senior Finance Business Partner – Strategic Growth
Hertfordshire | £80,000-£90,000 + 30% Bonus + Exceptional Career Opportunity
Looking for a role where you're influencing the future direction of a business rather than reporting on it?
We're recruiting for a senior commercial finance opportunity within a market-leading consumer business with a significant national presence and ambitious growth plans. This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of Finance, Commercial, Strategy and Growth, partnering directly with senior leadership teams to shape market strategy, drive profitability and identify opportunities for expansion.
You'll take ownership of a key product category, becoming the financial lead and trusted advisor to commercial stakeholders. From market mapping and strategic planning to pricing, investment decisions and performance optimisation, you'll play a central role in determining where and how the business grows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
