The Role & Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities

Financial Reporting & Audit Support
- Lead reviews for statutory financial statements and subsidiary audit relationships, including planning, preparation, and resolution of audit queries.
- Collaborate effectively with global finance, tax, treasury, and external auditors to ensure seamless processes.

Technical & Financial Controls
- Provide technical accounting advice to internal teams.
- Review and approve monthly journal postings, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with SOX requirements.
- Monitor, analyse, and escalate significant financial variances to senior leadership.

Intercompany & Transfer Pricing Operations
- Oversee the end-to-end intercompany accounting process, co-ordinating with tax, treasury, and finance.
- Drive group re-charge accounting in alignment with transfer pricing agreements.
- Maintain and enhance core financial data models, ensuring accuracy in global financial consolidation.

- Leadership & Team Development
- Manage a team of finance professionals, providing mentorship, leadership, and professional development.
- Foster strong working relationships with senior stakeholders, external auditors, and regulators.
- Deliver finance transformation projects, ensuring timely completion with measurable impact.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Chartered accountant status (CPA, ICAEW, ACCA, etc.) preferred, with 6–8+ years of progressive finance experience.
- Proven multinational or plc background (or equivalent Big Four experience).
- 10+ years of financial reporting experience, with in-depth knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Hands-on experience in regulatory reporting (including accounting for gambling operators).
- Strong SOX or similar controls environment · experience in highly regulated sectors.
- Strong foundation in statutory accounting rules (enhanced by local-specific knowledge).
- Transfer pricing experience, particularly in a large multinational corporation.
- Oracle Financials and Advantage experience is desirable.
- Fluent in Excel and MS Suite, with ambitions to expand technical accounting knowledge.
