Tax & Finance Manager – London (European Launch)

The Company

Our client is a highly successful, U.S. headquartered commercial real estate financing platform with a strong track record of growth and performance in the U.S. market. Backed by one of the world’s most established and well-capitalised global investment funds, the business is now launching its first European office, based in London.

The Opportunity

This role is one of the first few hires for a brand-new London office, with plans to scale over time. Joining at this stage offers a rare opportunity to help shape the tax & finance functions, build processes from the ground up, and grow with the business as it establishes itself across the European market.

This role would suit someone who wants the autonomy, variety, and visibility of a start-up environment, but with the comfort of working for a business backed by deep institutional resources.

The Role

This is a finance focused leadership role, heavily weighted towards tax. The successful candidate will take direct ownership of tax compliance across European markets. The candidate will also oversee the finance & outsourced accounting functions. The finance team of the company’s U.S. affiliate will also provide oversight for certain aspects of this role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
